1949

In this year the founding members, Arrigo Tarocco and Erio Prandi, started up the company

by importing the quality daily newspaper "The Daily Telegraph".
It wouldn't be exaggerating to say that this really was a pioneering act in the world of distribution, in an Italy still reeling from the economical and political disaster brought about by World War II.
Although the means were scarse, and the market unknown, their enthusiasm knew no bounds.

Over the last 60 years many other famous publications have followed in the footsteps of "The Daily Telegraph". Today Intercontinental represents English, American, French, Spanish, Belgian, Arabic and Dutch titles.

Through a widespread and organised circulation, we specialise in the distribution of over 1500 exclusively foreign dailies and periodicals, and we are able to offer a selection which will satisfy even the most particular demands.
